A Great Idea..

Wow, its been awhile since I've blogged. Seems like all we've been doing is going going going. Specially this month, seems like we've had some where to go every other day during the week. Between birthday parties, church activities, work and school programs..we've got a busy month.

But I guess I need to get back to point of my blog today. Last Sunday, Deon had this idea. Its always bugged us that our children watch way too much TV, so Deon sat down Sunday night and started listing chores the kids can do. Then beside a group of chores he but a certain minute of TV time or a certain amount of money. Its the kids choice what they want to receive from doing that chore. We knew that Savannah would chose mostly money b/c she doesn't watch that much of TV. Now Dalton on the other hand is different. He LOVES TV. He would sit in front of a TV ALL day if you would let him. What we got tickled about is that night when we were explaining this new system to the kids, Dalton spoke out and said "I can go days with out watching TV" Deon, Savannah and I all looked at each other and giggled. I replied by saying "really?" He then just smiled at me.

So this all started Monday morning. They both did two chores before school, which was making their bed and straiting up their rooms. Savannah wrote down she wanted the money for that chore, and so did Dalton. So this meant when he got home from school, he would have no TV time. Which is what he did everyday after school before homework. So Monday afternoon he comes in the door, and first words out of his mouth is "Can I change the money to TV minutes?" I just giggled and said "yes". Which he only had like 30 mins of TV time for that day, and they can save the TV time, they don't have to use it all in one day. But after that he did alot better. Specially after he saw Savannah was racking up with the money. She mostly only wanted TV time to watch American Idol. So she did save some TV time for that day, and a few extra but mostly chose money.

We've been so proud of this little system we've got going on. I think Dalton has only watched about 3 hours of TV all WEEK. Today, Saturday, he has watched a little bit more than he has during one day, but he saved up some TV time. Savannah has probably only watched about 2 hrs of TV all week, but like I said she doesn't watch a whole bunch of TV. Mostly listens to music, and plays her DS every now and then. I've been proud of both of my kids and how they've handled this adjustment very well. I don't hear any complaints from them when asked to do a chore, and most of the time they have done the chore on their own.

I so wish we would have thought of this along time ago. : )

Music to my ears

This weekend I went to a Women's Conference/Retreat with 10 women from our church Grace Community Church (www.graceunioncity.com) I had a fabulous time. This was my first and will not be last woman's retreat. I walked away learning soooo much from this conference/retreat. But what I want to point out on this blog is the songs we sang. I LOVE music, and always have since a child. But the older I get I've learned to actually read the lyrics to a song. I was try to figure out the meaning of the song. So I thought I would share with you the lyrics to a couple songs.
JESUS, THANK YOU

(Pat Sczebel)

The mystery of the cross I cannot comprehend

The agonies of Calvary

You the perfect holy One crushed Your Son

Drank the bitter cup reserved for me

CHORUS Your blood has washed away my sin

Jesus, thank you

The Father's wrath completely satisfied

Jesus, thank you

Once Your enemy now seated at Your table

Jesus, thank you

By Your perfect sacrifice I've been brought near

Your enemy You've made Your friend

Pouring out the riches of Your glorious grace

Your mercy and Your kindness know no end

(repeat chorus)

Bridge: Lover of my soul, I want to live for You!

The first time we sang this song, I wasn't quiet paying attention to the Actual Words to the song, till the next day, and we sang it again. Then I just loved it because its so true! Another song we sang I like too and I've heard this one before but every time I hear it I could sing it over and over..

Arise, My Soul, Arise

(C. Wesley)

Arise, my soul, arise,

shake off your guilty fears;

The bleeding sacrifice,

in my behalf appears;

Before the throne my Surety stands,

Before the throne my Surety stands,

My name is written on His hands.

CHORUS Arise (arise), arise (arise), arise

Arise, my soul, arise

Arise (arise), arise (arise), arise

Arise, my soul, arise

Shake off your guilty fears and rise

He ever lives above, for me to intercede;

His all redeeming love,

His precious blood, to plead;

His blood atoned for every race,

His blood atoned for every race,

And sprinkles now the throne of grace.

(Repeat chorus)

Five bleeding wounds He bears;

received on Calvary;

They pour effectual prayers;

they strongly plead for me:

"Forgive him, O forgive," they cry,

"Forgive him, O forgive," they cry,

Nor let that ransomed sinner die!

(repeat chorus)

The Father hears Him pray,

His dear anointed One,

He cannot turn away,

the presence of His Son;

The Spirit answers to the blood,

The Spirit answers to the blood

And tells me I am born of God

(repeat chorus)

My God is reconciled;

His pardoning voice I hear;

He owns me for His child;

I can no longer fear

With confidence I now draw nigh;

With confidence I now draw nigh,

And "Father, Abba, Father," cry.

(repeat chorus)

No I didn't go to the conference/retreat to just sing songs. lol But that was just one of Many that I enjoyed during the retreat/conference. But all that will have to be another blog. : )

Bored out of my mind..

Well, what a 3 1/2 days I have had....
Started, Saturday morning after giving my dog a bath. I bent over the tub to rinse it out, and the WORSE PAIN in my lower back hit me like a ton of bricks. Then I got really light headed. I slowly sat down on the bathroom floor, and hollered for Deon. He came to the bathroom, and sees me just sitting on the floor. He of course ask "Whats wrong?" I reply "I'm not sure, I bent over and now I have sharp pain in my back!" He slowly gets me up on my feet. With his support we walk out of the bathroom. That first step and the next couple steps, were the MOST painful steps I've ever took. Every time I took a step my back muscle would go very tight, to where I feel liked crying.

He got me to the bedroom (closes place to go, didn't feel like I could take another step) We got to the bed, was not fun to try to lay down, but I got there, and felt some better to lay there. I layed there for a couple hours, with my son Dalton waiting on me hand and foot. : ) Then when I needed to get up to go to the restroom, well that was probably entertaining to watch, but not fun for me. Thought I would be able to get up and go to the restroom, but could not hardly even get out of bed with out the help of Deon. He then helped to the living room to my recliner. I thought it might be better to sit. It was some what better. At the point Deon was thinking if he should take me to the ER. Which I begged him not to do.

So all day and night, that was where I was...in my recliner. Every time I needed to get up, someone had to help me. This was A LOT annoying to me. I am a independent person and now I was having to be dependent on people. My family was great, they have helped out a lot.

Sunday morning I got up, and could walk some what better. I still had to hang on to something, and that was usually a wall or table, whatever was there. I went to make my coffee, and Dalton was there beside me, and I sneezed. Oh yes, you heard me I sneezed! That was the most painful sneeze. If I wasn't holding onto the counter, I would have feel to my knees. I then went to sit down.

Later on while Deon and the kids were getting ready for church, I took my shower. Oh man that was a painful shower. I got out, and Deon came in to see if I was ok. I just broke down and cried. He looked at me and said "We are going to the ER" I begged him not to, but I didn't know win. Helped me get dress, and his mom came and picked up the kids. Off to the ER we went.

We were at the ER for about a hour. The doctor came in, exam me and then told me that I have pulled my lower back muscle. Which what I thought I had done, but it was so painful, we wanted to make sure it wasn't anything more serious. My muscle was having spasm. He prescribed a muscle relaxer, and told me if wasn't better in a couple of days to call my regular dr. So we headed home. Deon got me a heating pad set up in my chair, fixed my lunch, and then went to his mom for Sunday lunch (something we have done for years every Sunday, we eat at my in laws) .

Now I have to stay home from work for 3 days. So everyone left me Monday, kids went to school and husband off to work. So I have had all day to myself. You think oh that would be nice to have the house to yourself. Well....maybe if you didn't have to sit in a recliner most of the day and watch TV. Not a whole lot on TV during the day. Monday afternoon I did start feeling some what better, I was able to walk a lot better, and not as slow. But by that night I felt like I had done too much. I mostly cooked supper. The kids helped with a lot of things, that I didn't to lift. They have been a huge help, and so has Deon. My mother in law has too by picking the kids up for school, taking Savannah to piano lesson, and today taking them to their dentist appointment. I just hate sitting here and not able to do much.

But I know I need to rest and let my back heal. I diffidently do not want to go through that pain again. So aggravating. I am so thankful, it wasn't anything serious.

Snow Week!

I've read lots of post and blogs titled "snow day" but this is "Snow week" b/c this little town of Union City, TN has had SNOW all WEEK!

It started Monday Feb 7th--- I would not be going in to work this morning, b/c I had JURY DUTY, I was a little nervous b/c I had not done this before and really didn't know what to except. So, I was up getting ready , Savannah's alarm had gone off and now she was up getting ready for school. It was a little after 6:00 am, and I was fixing to walk down the hall to wake up Dalton, and the phone rang. So, I ran back to the phone, thinking it might be my mother in law, I didn't know who else would be calling me this early in the morning. I picked up my phone saw the caller ID, and the number was a odd one but having this call in the past, I knew who it was. I answered, yes I was correct it was the automatic call from the school..."Obion County schools will closed due to the storm coming" I was so puzzled! See it was not doing anything, did not think we would be getting that much that would matter. I looked outside (still dark) and I did notice that it was a mixture of rain and snow coming down. Called my mother in law in shock that they canceled school, she didn't think it was going to be that much either. Oh well what I'm going to do, of course Savannah was already dressed for school, and was surprised by this call also. Then I wondered if they would still have Circurt Court today? This meant, Deon wasn't going to have miss work, Dalton had been sick Sat and Sun and b/c of me having no choice but to go to jury duty he was going to stay home. But now that school was out, my mother in law said she could watch the kids, while I went to jury duty. ( I'll have to post another blog regarding the adventure of jury duty) Around 7 am, I looked outside and it had turned into all snow, and it was sticking really good, a little on the roads already. I guess now the smart thing was to cancel school, apparently they knew what was going to happen even though we did not. Around 8 am it was really coming down, and I couldn't get through to the court house to see if they were open or not, so I decided I would go anyway, did not want to get in trouble. Dropped the kids off at my mother in laws, and slowly headed to town. The roads were not too bad, but there was snow on it and I was not taking any chances. Only vechicles I saw that morning was mostly trucks, and here I was in my little car. My car did good, took me 45 mins to get to the court house, when usually it takes about 15. Not to ruin my next most, I did have to stay at the court house most of the day, and WOW that snow was coming down, looked like a blizzard. Heard stories of people slidding off the roads etc.. I was glad I wasn't out in it at that time. Got home around 2:30 and by then the roads were pretty clear with the help w/ truck w/ scrappers on them. Dalton went outside to build himself a snowman, while Savannah and I stayed in the warm house. B/c of the snow in the past weeks, Savannah was tired of the snow. I just like looking @ it from inside : ) That evening, we got the call again stating school would be out due to side roads still having snow it. The weatherman predicted 1-3 inches of snow for our area, we ended up w/ 6 inches!

Tuesday, Feb 8th----Got up this morning, and just hung out. I did take Dalton sledding that afternoon, again Savannah did not want to get out that much in it, she did get out that morning and just played in the yard. But Dalton kept begging to go sledding. Which I did let him go that morning by himself, but could only go on one certain hill, which was just outside of our back yard in the woods. Papa (my father in law) saw him, and did go down there with him to watch Dalton sled. But later that afternoon, I took him again on the other hills. It was great snow to sled on, he had a blast, and we took our lab with us, and that dog LOVES snow, it was so funny to watch him. Later that afternoon, we kept wondering if we would have school or not, the weathermen were saying another snow storm was coming, but the heavier stuff would be closer to noon. I was going to have to go in to work anyway on Wed to help unload the food truck, so we were going to get there early, so we could get it unloaded and get back home before the snow hit. We never got the call that night so I figured they would call Wed morn, or we would go and end up getting out early.

Wednesday, Feb 9th-----Got up regular time to get ready for work, didn't see anything on the news about no school, had not recieved the call yet which the call had been made in the past around 5 am. Savannah's alarm went off told her I'm guessing we are going to school, so she started getting ready. About 3 mins after she got up, my phone rang, I thought to myself "Now they call" lol...picked up the phone, and yep that was who was calling, to state would not be going to school due to the weather. Savannah just looked at me and said "Are you kidding me??," I just laughed and said "you can go back to bed" she responded " Nah, I'm awake now". So, I still went ahead and got ready due to that I was still going in for a few hours. Deon stays home on Wed to do his school work, so the kids would be able to stay with him. Went on to work, straitened up some stuff, dump some old food that was turning bad due to being used in days, chatted, and unloaded the truck went arrived. Headed back home around 9:30, and it was spitting a little snow. By the time I got to my house, the snow was coming down a little more. I was only home for maybe 20 minutes, when I looked outside, and it was coming down good, and already sticking to the roads. It dumped alot snow in a few hour time Wed. We ended up going out and playing in the snow that afternoon. Deon got his 3 wheeler out, and pulled me and Dalton on the sled, while Savannah rode. We ended up with another 5-6 inches. The snow was beautiful! We got the call Wed night that again we would be out of school. The temp was going to be in the teens that night and those roads were going to freeze.

Thursday, Feb 10th--- This was the 4th day of snow school. Savannah was ready to go to school, Dalton was very happy with not going. Mostly Savannah just wanted to see her friends and get out of the house. I mostly did some laundry, and watched movies. The kids went out and played in the snow some, but I think they are getting tired of it, even Dalton. My poor yorkie almost gets burried in the snow he is so small when he goes out in it. LOL Deon went on to work, but said the roads were awful and very slick. Of course there were some wrecker calls from people sliding off the roads. Some people are not very smart when they drive on snow/ice. They think they are superman or something. They started clearing the roads that afternoon, and by the time Deon got home that night, he said the roads a little better, but some side roads were still covered. He doubted we would go to school AGAIN! That evening we got the call, NO SCHOOL for Friday due to the roads.

Friday, February 11th----5th day of no school. That morning, I knew we had to get out to go to Walmart! Our cabinets and fridge was EMPTY. So me and the kids ventured out to Walmart to get groceries and Valintine gifts. We were in Walmart for 2 hours! It was crazy as always in there lol. We came back home, and were just lazy. The kids did not even go outside, Dalton did not bugg me to take him sledding. We are ready for this snow to go away!

Well now that you know our week. I apologize for this being so long. It just all started coming out. :)

No Broken Foot

Some might be wondering where this title is coming from. But it comes from my CRAZY day yesterday. You would had thought it was a Monday!

I woke at my children's elementary school in the cafeteria. Which I love because I'm off work when they are out of school, and if they get sick, I can take off work easier than some. It also gives access to me for my kids usually any time I'm there. Well I was helping kindergartners get their breakfast yesterday morning, when I heard my mother in law's voice (she is the cafeteria manager) say "She is over there" . I look up and there is Dalton , with tears down his face. I start walking to him, and ask "whats wrong?" We walk to Dorothy's office, and he looks at me with the biggest tears, and says "I hurt my foot in gym". He was running in gym, with no shoes on, and tripped and his foot bent under him. I knew it must hurt really bad for him to come find me and being crying while at school. As one of his teacher's said "His a tough little boy, I knew it must be hurting for him to be crying" I agree. He doesn't cry much when he falls etc. only unless it hurts extremely bad! So he sits down, and I take his sock off. I notice his pinkie toe is red, and then notice a little swelling on the side of his foot. I was so praying he has not broke his foot. Then my mother in law comes in and sees it, and says that is also the foot he broke. I'm like oh no he has broken this foot again. I had flash backs from 2 1/2 years ago.........

2 1/2 years ago around this same time, Deon and Dalton was wrestling in the living room. Deon picks up Dalton and flips him over his back, and when Dalton landed his right foot bent under him. Dalton yelled out the most horrible scream! I came running and Dalton was sitting there crying, talking about his foot hurting. We sat him up on the couch, and noticed the swelling and bruising of his foot around the toes area. We put ice on it for the rest of that night. He did limp when he went off to bed, thought in the morning he would be fine. The next morning he wakes up and cannot walk on his foot. Deon said "I don't think its broken, just bruised" So we went on our day, and for another day he was still limping, and while at church one night he had took his shoe off because it hurting so badly. I had noticed that he a bruise on top of his foot and the bottom of his foot. I told Deon "I'm taking him to the doctor, I believe this foot broken" So went the next day, they did the x rays, the doctor came in the room and said "Yes its fractured right under his toes" So for 6 weeks Dalton got to walk around with a boot. He thought this was so cool, till there were things he couldn't do because of his foot etc. It got old real quick. Ok, back to present time........

Tuesday, February 1st.... I'm sitting there staring at Dalton thinking "here we go again". I told him to go on back to class and we'll see what it looks like in a couple of hours when you come to lunch" So when he came back for lunch, I took his sock off again, and noticed more swelling and a little bruising, and Dalton said it wasn't getting better. So I called the doctor to get a appointment to get it x rayed.

We got it x rayed and went up to the doctor's office. When the nurse came in and saw the swelling on his foot, she says "That's all I have to see, I'm getting the doctor" I'm still thinking oh no this foot is going to be broken, he's going to have to wear a boot again!" Doctor comes in does his thing by squeezing his foot and Dalton saying "Ow Ow". Goes look at the x ray, comes back and says "Its not broken" I sighed with relief. It is just strained. He wrapped it with ace bandage, and told him to stay off of it for the night, and no PE this week. I was relieved that it wasn't broken, and Dalton was too, he did not like having to wear that boot for 6 weeks.

I have a feeling this will not be my last trip to the doctor for a x ray with this boy!

Vacation minus one

Well after all the craziness of Christmas for the past two days. The day after Christmas, me and Savannah in my car, and my parents and Dalton in their car headed south to Florida. : ) Minus Deon. : ( He could not go on this trip with us this year, because of starting a new job 2 months ago so he had no vacation days and we could not afford him not working for a week. We really did wish he could go with us, he so enjoys going down there. So after getting my sister's drive way salted and it cleared, we headed on our way. The roads in Nashville were good and clear. But wow we hit the Alabama state line, you could see they got a alot more snow than we did. Their highway was not cleared very well at all. I don't remember where we were (meaning what city) but we hit one spot with ice and snow on the interstate. Savannah was asleep in the car, which I'm glad because she would probably had been a little scared. I have to admit I was a little nervous myself. I noticed that traffic had slowed down a little, and thought to myself that there was probably a wreck, because I noticed everyone was getting in the right lane. A few miles later I noticed that the reason everyone was going to the right was because there was a thin layer of ice on the left lane! I kept myself in the right lane, and drove slow along with everyone else in the right lane, but man there are some people out there that think they are Superman! They would get in the left lane and drive like it was nothing to them. But then I would notice a few minutes later, they were getting in the right lane. That is because they realized how slick it was. I even saw some slide a little when they would hit their BREAKS! (Don't hit your breaks on ice!) I saw a truck on the other side of the interstate that had slide off into the median, at this time a tow truck was already there getting him out. Then it cleared up and people started moving a little more the speed limit. About a hour later we hit some more. By the time we got about 2 hrs from Birmingham the snow on the roads were gone. You could see where people had slide off either earlier that day or the night before.

We stopped at Steak and Shake for lunch, and the kids thought that was great. They have been to a Steak and Shake but they were too little to remember I guess, b/c they did not recall being at one. Good food! : ) Of course we had to have a shake. : ) It took us about 8 1/2 hours to get to Destin from Nashville. We were so happy to get there. I had no feelings in my legs by the time I got there from sitting soooo long. We got all our stuff settled, and then we went out to eat. We went to Cracker Barrel (Love this place) because we didn't stop for lunch at one (which we always do when we go on vacation). Had the most wonderful french toast there. They made it taste like a cinnamon roll, it had the cinnamon and icing. It was sooo yummy. My parents and the kids wished they had ordered it. I love cinnamon rolls and french toast so this made me happy. : ))

The next morning we got up, and man it was COLD. I don't believe I've ever been in Destin with it that cold. Of course the news was talking about how cold it was in FL and its been a long time since it had been as cold as it had been. I thought and I think even said it out loud to my mom, I would pick to come down when it was this cold. Lol! It was way too cold to go to the beach that day so we decided to go spend our Christmas money. The kids loved this idea, they will spend money every time they have some. Savannah is a better saver than Dalton, but she still loves to spend it. They take after their mom. LOL! We had a good time shopping, eating lunch, and shop some more. I do believe we shopped till we dropped. We stayed in and watched Twilight with my parents. They have never seen it before and Savannah got all three for Christmas so we decided we would watch each one at night.

Tuesday morning, it was suppose to be a little warmer that day, we figured we try the beach after lunch. I mean we did come to FL, so we need to go to the beach. So we did try it, and man it was chilly. We did not wear our swim suit, we just kept our clothes on. The kids played on the beach, and mom and I tried to stay warm. I believe it wasn't so windy it wouldn't as cold. The kids enjoyed being able to be on the beach and see the ocean. They did stick their feet in the water, and it of course was cold! Dalton mostly just digged holes in the sand, and Savannah built sand castles. The beach of course wasn't crowded but there were people mostly walking along the beach, in their winter coats. LOL It was so funny to see people wear winter hats in FL.
Went out to eat that night and watched the movie New Moon ( 2nd part of Twilight saga) So far my parents were liking these movies.

Wednesday, we headed to the beach a little bit before lunch. It was a little warmer but still not swim suit weather. Same ole same ole, we sat on the beach and the kids played. We came back, ate some lunch and watched a view movies. It was good ol lazy day and which I loved, I mean I was on vacation so I didn't have to do much, and I didn't! LOL That night after supper, we watched the 3rd movie in the Twilight saga, which is Eclipse. This one is my favorite so far. The 4th one is not out till November. Mom said "I'm going to have to buy the book, I cannot wait that long".

Thursday, it was a cloudy, and chilly day. So we decided we would stay in and watch some more movies. We watched Charlie St Cloud off paper view. Very good movie, sad, but good. Then after lunch I went and did some shopping by myself and the kids stayed with mom. It was nice to get out by myself, and not have to listen to my kids say "I'm bored, can we go" or "I want that can I have that?" Dalton thinks he needs to buy something in every store he enters. No kidding he does. Ordered in that night, and then rented The Karate Kid ( the new one) That was a really good movie also. I caught up on watching movies I had been wanting to see.

Friday, New Years Eve; I thought we needed to go to the beach since this was our last day there. It was sunny and warm that morning, but by the time we got to the beach it turned cloudy, and windy. We were only at the beach for about a hour till it started raining on us. So we came by to the apartment, found some movies on TV. lol Mostly all I did on this vacation was watch movies, beach, eat and shop. It was a great vacation! LOL Just wish Deon could had been there with us. The kids actually stayed up this year to see the ball drop on TV. (Last year Savannah feel asleep the last 5 mins) She was determined to stay up this year. : )

Saturday morning, we got up, got our stuff packed in the car, and headed north to Tennessee. The drive home seems always the longest. Feels like we were never going to get home. But we did, and had a great time visiting with my parents.

Christmas 2010

This starts Christmas Eve, going to my in law's house at lunch. We wonderful food cooked by Nana (my mother in law), then we sat around chatted and played with Michael. We then started opening our gifts. Christmas at Nana and Papa's house always looks like Santa came early. lol. They spoil all of us. : ) Michael (our nephew, Elly and Doug's son) is a year old. He loved being able to open presents and loved seeing what he got. After Nana's went home and but away our presents, and then got ready for Christmas eve service at church. The service was great.

We then came home and got ready for Santa's arrival. (Christmas morn) Dalton woke me up around 5:30 am. He had been up since 5 am, and when Savannah woke up, he then came to wake me up. The Santa gifts are wrapped, so he sat there in the living room watching TV, with the gifts sitting there. I surprised. I went ahead and got up, and got my coffee made. After Deon getting up, they started opening those gifts. We then opened gifts from under the tree from us. After all said and done, it all took approx 30 mins. LOL It was all a flash.

After the kids playing with the new things, we then started getting ready to go to Deon's grandmother's house for lunch. Also, had to pack me and the kids (which most of it was packed) to go to FL the next day. I twas nice be at grandma's, and the food was good as always. : ) We stayed there for a few hours, chatted and opened gifts. We then had to leave to head to Nashville, to my sister's house for Christmas with her family and mom and dad. We were wondering if we were even going to be able to go because of snow that was in the forecast on Christmas. We did not get that much snow and none of it was on the roads. But the closer we got to Nashville, the more snow you saw. I knew they were calling for more snow than what we had, but my sister told it was also no on their roads. We got there and it was still snowing, and it was suppose to snow most of the night. I was just glad we got there safely. We had a good time, chatting, eating and opening gifts. That is all I did in the past two days, lol, eat and open gifts, but it was great being able to spend time with family. My kids and nephew and niece love getting together, they get along so well, and always have a good time we they are together.

We got up the next morning to get ready to leave, and looked out the window and there was snow on the drive way and a little on the road. My sister's drive way is very steep, they had bought some salt in case this happened, so Deon got out there and salted their drive way, which helped a lot. Deon was not going to be able to go to FL with us this year. So, we packed up the cars and headed out to FL, and Deon headed home. The roads were too bad, as long as you took it slow. I 40 and I 65 was cleared in Nashville, but when you left Nashville the roads had spots of snow and a little ice on them. Not fun at all.

Stayed tune to my next blog on my trip to Florida. : )
